At the begining of this year I wrote down a list of the things that make me happy....incase I forget :)
Why do we neglect to do the things that make us the happiest? I have no idea. That's why I'm making a honest effort to do more of this.
Yoga- The best therapy aside from actual therapy
Getting my nails done- nice looking hands make me happy
Make the bed in the morning- I love walking into the bedroom and having it be clean and neat
Organizing-I need to tackle the last few disasters in the home
Daily Cleaning-SUCH a struggle for me, but when I keep on top of it I can breathe easier
Nightly schedule- My OCD kicks in for me here. I'm happy when I brush my teeth and wash my face
Drink great wine- My new favorite is Sean Minor-2009 Pinot Noir. So Good!
Clean Sheets-Clean soft sheets are the best, and it's free
Making a healthy breakfast- Something I can do that sets me up for a good day
Baking- I just love to bake. It's food for my soul
Set Monthly Goals- I get overwhelmed with planning too far out in advance
Ironing- I really don't love to do it, but I love ironed clothes. Catch 22
Listening to Music- I'm dead set on bringing back the art of just listening to music. Not in the car, in your home. Give it a try. Put on a good CD, get your glass of wine, snuggle and just listen. I recommend listening to Bob Mould:Workbook.
